Florida Eta Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu

Welcome USF students,

You are most likely looking at this page because you received an email inviting you to join PGM.  Congratulations!  If you received the email from the registrar office, you qualify for our honor society.

Florida Eta, USF's chapter, is a nationally recognized chapter for our leadership, service projects, and Description: Description: Description: Description: Pi Gamma Mu Flagwork with other student organizations to enrich our community.

We accept applications from undergraduates, graduates, post graduates and alumni.   All Graduate level students are invited to join, regardless of GPA or other general requirements. The USF graduate school's highly competitive application process is much higher than the chapter's so everyone who is admitted to the graduate school qualifies.

Our induction ceremony is held in November and April of each year.  All certificates originate at our national headquarters. They will then be created and mailed to the secretary for signing by the current president and vice president, then mailed out to new members.   This can take 8 to 10 weeks.

Our online application will email your application and take you to a page with payment options for credit cards and paypal.   If PayPal does not allow you to make a payment, you will not be rejected by PGM.  Paypal sometimes has issues. If this does occur, please use the PayPal link at the top of this page and retry.

Please note that Florida Eta can only accept applications from students and alumni of the University of South Florida.  Students from other schools need to contact their chapter sponsor or PGM Headquarters about joining.

If you are a student at a school in the Florida University System, and your school does not have a PGM chapter you may become a member of our chapter however you must email me for prior approval before applying.  The faculty advisor has no way to verify your information so we will need additional information from you.

Changes for 2012/2013

The email offering membership to undergraduates is only good for semester it is sent.  Older emails include an honor cords for attending initiation, this is no longer valid.  It also included a snail mail form that we no longer accept.

Florida Eta will no longer handle honor cords!

If you want an honor cord, you will have to contact PGM痴 International Office to get an honor cord.

Dr. Napora does not have any honor cords in his office.  Please do not come to his office or department asking about honor cords.

Deadlines will be strictly enforced this year.  When there have been problems in the past, it was because the application come in after the deadline.
